The policies of Lake Ridge VA School Prince William Academy are classified into two. They are student policies and academic policies. The first student policy is the dress code which is required for kindergarten and primary students. The dress code for boys includes white polo shirts with dark blue shorts or pants and dress code for girls include white polo shirts with jumpers or skirts. Dress code promotes equality and unity among the students. The second is the Illness policy which states that sick child or student is not allowed to stay in schools premises and should be taken by the parents. Medicines for children should not be given in class rooms, the medicines with consent form should be bought by parents to the office and then a form is filled by them to provide medicines to their children. These referrals are given after one or two warnings and the related referral slip is sent to parents prior to the referral date.
